Ron “Shadow of the King” Adams is considered the USA’s number one Elvis tribute artist and easily curls his upper lip, changes his voice to sound like Elvis, and responds to audience applause with a hauntingly familiar “Thank you, thank you very much.”

In February, Ron will make his return to the Cayman Islands when he takes to the stage at the Cayman Heart Fund’s annual Red Dress Gala at the Marriott ballroom on 10 February.

As the living ‘King’ Ron has performed at countless sold-out shows across America, the Bahamas and at the Cayman Heart Fund Gala two years ago where he swooned the ladies into near cardiac arrest. His renditions of All Shook up, Hound Dog and In the Ghetto are a haunting closeness to the original versions, not only in vocal styling, but in his moves, resemblance and passion.

Since Elvis’s death, thousands of people from around the world gather together in Memphis, Tennessee to honour the legend of Elvis Presley. Elvis Week takes place over 16 August every year and Ron Adams has been twice and won the Elvis look-a-like competition both times.

Ron will be performing free of charge at the Cayman Heart Fund gala, proving that the King has a heart of gold.

"I enjoy doing the shows," Ron says, “and I always say it’s my last one but when someone asks you to perform at a charity function as the Cayman HEART FUND , and at the same time have the opportunity to visit this beautiful island again - you just  have to say ‘yes’ to that.”

Backing the King will be the Sea n’ B band whose members have become close friends with Ron since they all performed together in the Bahamas along with Barefoot Man some years back.

It will be a night to remember with exquisite cuisine, great music, prizes and dancing all night long! For more information and tickets contact caymanheartfund@gmail.com or 916-6324
