In Cayman, the beach is a lifestyle. This is central to Tiki Beach and everything they do, according to Karl Ashmore.
With a prime location on Seven Mile Beach, sparkling water, white sand and stunning sunsets are just part of the package.
“We’ve got everything under one roof at Tiki Beach. We have VIP cabanas, the tables, the ocean , the chairs, the soft cushions, it’s beautiful,” says Karl.
The location features three distinct beaches, perfect for weddings, events and parties, and even boasts an on-site watersports operation, with jetski rentals, kayaks, and even a banana boat. Add the option of booking a parasail, or a sunset cruise or Stingray City trip for groups, and the island lifestyle is so much closer.
“There’s no other location on Seven Mile Beach that gives you everything in one location,” says Karl.
From the distinctive tiki structure that lends the venue its name, the flowing fabric, the expansive bar and huge deck, everything sets this bar apart. However, when it comes to the prices, customers are in for a positive surprise.
“Happy hours are 5-7pm, two for one on mixed drinks, two for one on wines. The mixed drinks two for one is $4 for two mixed drinks, and $5 for two wines, and we’ve got the cheapest beers on Seven Mile Beach, $3.25 a beer for Happy Hour,” says Karl.
A recent addition to the menu is fishbowl cocktails, which according to Karl makes Tiki Beach the only place on Island serving up these massive cocktails. You really might want to think about sharing these though! The menu will also feature a signature cocktails from each of the bartenders.
When it comes to signature beers though, Caybrew has the title locked down.
“We have CayLight, Ironshore Bock and original Caybrew. It is the beer of choice for a lot of customers coming here and we are really happy to have it on tap,” says Karl.
For a real taste of what island life can be, Tiki Beach is well worth a visit, for as Karl points out, “Tiki Beach, it’s so much more than a beach – it’s a lifestyle.” WH
