In Cayman, the best place to be is by the water. In the case of Stingers Restaurant and Bar, that water is the pool of the Comfort Suites on Seven Mile Beach, and it creates the perfect ambiance for kicking back and enjoying the cool island breezes.

Of course it is a very popular spot with stay-over tourists from the Comfort Suites, but is also a hit with locals looking to hide away in the lush gardens and have a relaxed drink or a meal.

With sports on satellite TV for those who cannot miss the game, outside dining or seating under the roof, there are more than enough options to please anyone. Add to that the popular Caribbean Luau on Wednesdays and a poolside barbecue on Saturdays and you are in for a treat.

The menu has wide ranging options, from local flavours and seafood to burgers and of course a selection of appetisers and snacks perfect to accompany that tall, cold glass of beer you have been thinking about since arriving poolside.

With a steady flow of visitors from nearby condos and hotels, it is little surprise that Stingers proudly pours Caybrew draft, giving visitors to the Island a taste of the local brew. Once they’ve had a taste, even though their choices from the menu may vary on subsequent visits, their choice in beer remains the same.

Another advantage of having a local brew is that tourists and locals can visit the Cayman Islands Brewery for a brewery tour. The tours take place on the hour from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and private tours can be arranged for bookings over 10 people in the evenings. The brewery is located on Shamrock Road.   WH
