• Stay hydrated: You might be surrounded by water, but relaxing on the beach can be hot work, and if you don’t stay hydrated it could leave you feeling lethargic and nursing a nasty headache.
• Empty your pockets: You never know when you might end up in the water (we all have friends like those) so take care to empty your pockets before you hit the water – cellphones and even some car keys do not take kindly to being submerged in saltwater.
