Located in far East End, Tukka Native Fusion Restaurant brings something very unique to the Island, with its fusion of Australian and local cuisine. With unique menu items including crocodile and kangaroo, the restaurant offers a culinary adventure.

When Chef Ron Hargrave set out to create a unique dining experience, he decided it should be in a unique location as well, which was why the East End location was selected. The menu includes seafood and more familiar meats in addition to the exotic , but at this restaurant even the burgers get a unique Australian treatment.

Of course, the traditional Aussie barbeque is part of the experience, and what would a barbeque be without a good beer? However, this is yet another case of fusion, as the proudly Australian restaurant is just as proud to serve a Cayman Islands beer.

For Chef Ron it was a no brainer to get Caybrew on tap in the bar at Tukka, even though it meant having to cut a hole in the bar to make room for the equipment. His only regret is not having more room behind the bar so he could add Ironshore Bock on tap to the menu. And Caybrew is not limited to the drinks menu, as Chef Ron also uses is for the batter in his signature conch and crocodile fritters, something the Cayman Islands Brewery’s brewmaster Andreas Moerl could never have imagined his creation being used for.

For anyone keen on trying Tukka, but not keen on the drive, the restaurant runs Walkabout Wednesdays, which offers bus pickup from four hotels along Seven Mile Beach from 5.30pm on a Wednesday evening, with a three course meal at Tukka, and safe delivery back to the hotels after a great evening out.
