In Cayman, cool is the operative phrase over Christmas time – the weather chills just enough to make you want to spend all day outside, and you need the clothes to carry off the chilled look to perfection.

Enter One 345, (ONe TREE FOUR FIVE) the coolest Caribbean lifestyle clothing brand from the Cayman Islands, locally designed by Caymanian entrepreneur and designer Luigi Moxam.

The brand has been gaining momentum steadily since it was launched in 2005, and captures something truly Caymanian, whether through the authentic and fashionable style of the apparel and designs which features many of the local phrases and sayings that have been shared for generations.

“It is a true representation of our greatest asset, our people,” says Luigi.

Apart from the cool factor, the brand is also built on social awareness with projects such as the Tink Again Caribbean Youth Empowerment Project.

“Anyone can make a T-Shirt, but it’s about what it represents and how you rock it – I’ve been very conscious of marketing the brand from a true grassroots level. I’m very proud of what One 345 Collection represents, where we come from and where we’re going. When you wear a ONe Tree Four Five design, you are sharing our message of how one individual, one organisation, one community, one people can come together and contribute in making a positive difference, and that means a lot to us all,” says Luigi.

To bring the collection to an even wider audience, Luigi is launching Onetreefourfive.com this month, but the website is far more than just a place to see and buy the collection.

It will feature and interactive blog Wha Ya Sayin? where you can read an authentic and fashionable perspective on the who, what, when and where of everything Cayman Style.

Local artists will be featured in the Local segment of the website, where you can see profiles and learn more about the variety of Cayman’s talented local artists, athletes and other culturally influenced artisans. You can even post pictures in the Where You is? section to show where in the world you are representing the brand.

Of course, the Christmas season will also feature numerous specials on the website and at the One 345 store location at Hammerheads.

Luigi can even do authentic, fashionable custom designs, Cayman style, for corporate, private or non-profit fundraisers and community events.
