When it comes to pouring a perfect pint, the Cayman Islands Brewery’s Gold Member programme has been working with local bars for quite a while now. As a strong supporter of a pint well poured, the Dog House in The Shoppes at Grand Harbour was one of the early establishments to take CIB up on their offer of staff training and a brewery tour.

“Pouring the perfect pint is extremely important to us. It shows our dedication to customer service and providing the best product possible,” says John Mack of the Dog House.

As one of the favourite sports bars in Cayman, the bar features an extensive menu to go with all the Caybrew, CayLight and Ironshore Bock it has on tap. It boasts the perfect pub food, from wings and burgers to curries and pizzas. Add to that live broadcasts of every sporting event you can imagine, as well as other entertainment including online trivia, Golden Tee golf, billiards, darts and foosball and you have a recipe that can keep you entertained no matter what you are in the mood for.

Of course, a draught is only as good as the bartender who pours it, and at Dog House you can be sure you will get your beer poured by some of the best on the Island.

“We are very proud to see that the Gold Member training that our Dog House and Brick House staff took part has paid off. As a result of her previous Gold Member training (and a lot of practice) Amber went on to win the very prestigious Stella Draught Master Competition in Cayman,” says John.

As the winner of the local leg of the competition, Amber won a trip to London to take part in the international Stella Draught Master Competition.

“Amber will be a great representative for the Dog House, Stella and for the commitment to quality that the Cayman Islands Brewing Company shows by providing superior training and service for their brands,” says John.   WH
