With clear, warm water all around, Cayman is a paradise for anyone with a love of the ocean, whether it involves snorkelling, fishing or just spending a day out on the water.

However, getting out on the water in comfort can be a bit of a challenge, as not everyone has the means to buy a boat of their own, never mind one suited to deep sea fishing. That is where a charter company comes in.
Cayman Private Tours has been in operation since April 2009 and can tailor a tour exactly to a customer’s specifications.

The company operates a 46ft Hatteras sport fishing boat that offers all the luxuries one could ask for.

The boat is fully air-conditioned and boasts two bathrooms, a kitchen and even sleeps six.

There is a fighting chair for those who fancy a shot at landing the big one, while the large bow is great for those who would rather spend a relaxing afternoon sunbathing than fighting a fish.

The flying bridge can seat eight, providing a perfect view over the water.

Depending on your needs, Cayman Private Tours can customise a tour to suit you.

The company offers private fishing charters for up to 12 people. For something a little less strenuous, Cayman Private Tours also offers Stingray City and snorkelling excursions for up to 20 people.

Captain Phil Coley is passionate about providing his customers with the best possible excursion.

“We can fully tailor the charter to the customer’s needs,” he says.

Should a customer want a grill on board for a full day trip featuring hamburgers and hotdogs out on the water that can be arranged.

Another popular option is to stop on land for a quick lunch, with Kaibo Yacht Club always a favourite.

“You tell us where and when, it’s your trip so you can have it your way,” says Phil.
