Orange Canyon – Boat Dive (North West Point)
The pin is 50 feet down. Head in a westerly direction and drop into canyons lined with big orange sponges, hence the name. When you get through the canyon, look down the wall which drops 3,000 feet. Head along the wall and explore all the nooks and crannies along it, making sure to visit all the canyons on the site. Everything is nice and close so no marathon swims are involved. Look out for beautiful coral life, lots of fish, green moray eels, turtles and ocean triggerfish. You’ll have visited around 100 feet down at some points, so don’t forget your safety stop.
Big Tunnels – Boat Dive (North West Point)
The pin is in approximately 45 feet of water. Go along the top of the wall and descend into a crevice. Swim in a northerly direction and end up facing the wall. This site allows you to basically dive inside the reef itself by means of tunnels, popping you out at around 85 feet. There are lots of fish around, including large schools of horse-eyed jacks just hanging out, but what really impresses here is the topography of Big Tunnels. There is a huge overhang that looks like a bridge, and spiral coral and sponges abound. Head back along the top of the wall back to the pin and safety stop.
