Taste Extras

For many years Cayman has boasted some of the finest eating establishments in the Caribbean. This was part of the inspiration for the establishment of the Taste of Cayman Food & Wine Festival at Camana Bay. In its 22nd year, the festival has expanded to twice the size of last year with exciting new additions such as VIP tickets and a food ticketing system that promises to cut back on the queuing of past years. For those with a big appetite, additional food tickets can be purchased from the Cayman Islands Tourism Association booth.

Over 60 different local restaurants
Some of Cayman’s top dining establishments will be represented at Taste of Cayman, serving up some of the dishes that have made them famous.

Cayman’s longest-established steak and seafood restaurant. Lobster Pot, will be there with a local brown stew snapper as well as lobster bisque reflecting its strong link to the ocean.

The Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort will bring its signature Buccaneers’ Feast to Camana Bay for the Taste of Cayman. The menu will feature clam and lobster chowder, a chef’s salad and Caribbean mahi-mahi.

Island Taste patties have become a lunchtime legend in Cayman and they will be serving up their classic patties, as well as Juici Beef patties and local pastries.
