Although people tend to associate pharmacies primarily with prescription medication, Health Care Pharmacy in Grand Harbour has much more to offer.
Of course the usual pharmacy staples are there, but the pharmacy also offers one of the biggest selections of Hallmark greeting cards on Island, with a wide selection of Christmas cards on the shelves, ready to be sent off to family and friends all around the globe.

The company also stocks a wide variety of gift items, from cosmetic and personal care gift baskets to fluffy toys, perfect for the festive season.

Hair and beauty products abound, as do general health supplements like vitamins. From infant care to walking aides for the elderly, Health Care Pharmacy covers health care needs for every stage of life.

As a pharmacy the mainstay of the business remains medication, dispensed by two qualified pharmacists on staff.

As the longest serving active pharmacist in the Cayman Islands, Donald McLean is a familiar face to many. His company, Health Care Pharmacy, has been around since 1989 and the Grand Harbour location has been its home for the past six years. With ample parking and easy access, the location has served the company well. The building also houses doctors’ offices as well as a dentist and even a medical lab, making it somewhat of a one stop shop.

Opening hours for Health Care Pharmacy in Grand Harbour have also changed. It is now open from 9am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sundays and public holidays.

“We are only closed two days in the entire year, and those are the important ones – Christmas Day and Good Friday,” says Donald.

On any other day of the year, the staff at Health Care Pharmacy is ready to see to your healthcare needs and more.
