Many of Cayman’s top establishments pull out all the stops over the festive season, putting on a spread of events designed to dazzle and delight resident and visitor alike. Here we list but a few of the events coming your way over Christmas and New Year.

Marriott Beach Resort
The Marriott Beach Resort will play host to a number of festive events, kicking off with a Christmas Eve dinner at Solana’s. Enjoy the Christmas buffet at the oceanfront restaurant. The buffet is $50 per person plus gratuities.

Red Parrot’s will host a Christmas brunch on 25 December with a traditional brunch buffet. The cost is $40 per person plus gratuities and includes a glass of premium sparkling wine.

That evening, enjoy the Buccaneers’ Feast, featuring Caribbean fusion cuisine with seafood, meat, fresh vegetables as well as a dessert station. With dancers and a fire eating show there will be more than enough entertainment as well. The buffet is $50 per person plus gratuities.

On 26 December, enjoy an Asian festivity, with Pad Thai, exotic noodles, traditional sushi rolls, as well as Indian curries with naan and papadums.

In the build-up to the New Year, 30 December will feature all you can eat lobster night, for $50 per person plus gratuities and including a glass of premium sparkling wine.

Ring in the New Year with the Silver & White New Year’s Eve celebration on 31 December. The dress code is silver or white, with a special gala dinner buffet, pure white spirits and sparkling wine, for $150 including gratuities and unlimited premium sparkling wine.

Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman
The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman presents a wide selection of festive season events for every taste.

The Teddy Bear Tea in The Silver Palm Lounge takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 20 December, as well as on 23 and 24 December. The magic of Christmas meets a child’s tea party, with tiny sandwiches and a mountain of sweets. Then spend time with Santa and his Elves around the giant gingerbread house. For the adults there is a selection of teas, scones, finger sandwiches and pastries.

There are two seating times, 12pm and 2pm, with tickets CI$46 for adults and CI$28 for children under twelve.

On Christmas Day, enjoy a lavish Christmas Champagne Brunch at 7 Restaurant, with limitless Veuve Clicquot Champagne. CI$120 for adults, CI$84 without Champagne and CI$45 for children under twelve.

For families, there is the Christmas Family Brunch in The Cayman Islands Royal Ballroom from 11am to 3pm. This feast for the whole family mixes Christmas tradition with a Caribbean twist for an unforgettable event, including limitless Champagne. CI$80 for adults, CI$56 without Champagne and CI$36 for children under twelve.

On New Year’s Day, 7 Restaurant hosts a special Champagne brunch, from 12 to 3pm. Everything that has made the Ritz-Carlton brunch legendary, accompanied by limitless Veuve Clicquot Champagne for CI$120 for adults, CI$84 without Champagne and CI$45 for kids under twelve.

Westin Casuarina
The restaurants at the Westin Casuarina will be pulling out all the stops this festive season with special festive menus.

On Christmas Eve, enjoy a special festive menu at Ferdinand’s for CI$44 or at Casa Havana for CI$52 plus 15 per cent service charge.

On Christmas Day, enjoy a holiday champenoise buffet seating from 12 to 3pm with a second seating from 5.30 to 8.30pm, featuring Marwood champenoise brut, a selection of wines, non alcoholic beverages and coffee and tea, for CI$58 plus 15 per cent service charge.

On Saturday 26 December, enjoy a special Boxing Day lunch at Ferdinand’s.

On New Year’s Eve, Casa Havana will host a gala dinner, at CI$139 per person plus 15 per cent service charge.

For a less formal experience, there is also a New Year’s Eve party around the pool, with dishes from around the world and even a special kids’ corner.

Adults pay CI$80 per person, kids under twelve pay CI$40, and kids under six pay CI$20, all plus a 15 per cent service charge.


Camana Bay
Camana Bay plays host to the Cayman 27 Parade of Lights as boats decorated with coloured lights parade through the harbour at Camana Bay.
