Cloudy rainy weather conditions will persist over the Cayman area today as a surface trough moves across the region, decreasing cloudiness and shower activity tonight as the system moves west of the Cayman area. Radar images show widely scattered moderate across the Cayman area and moving northwest.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a 60% chance of showers and possible thunder. Showers may be locally heavy at times and some flooding of low lying areas is possible.
Winds will be east to northeast 15 to 20 knots.
Seas will be moderate to rough with wave heights of 4 to 6 feet. Small craft should exercise caution over open waters.
