The WestTel five-a-side football season continues to fizz with exciting matches in all three divisions.

Last week in the first division Burger King continued their unbeaten run with a 6-1 thrashing of Tru Ballers.

Theron Wood feasted on a hat-trick for Burger King with Ariel Tatum (2) and Jason Ebanks gobbling up the others. Yannick Solomon got the Tru Ballers goal.

There was a tight game as Centre Spot beat Scotiabank 3-2. Lee Parry hit two for Centre Spot and Dwayne ‘Gaza’ Wright who is in magnificent form Roma, got the other. Daniel Ebanks deposited both goals for Scotiabank.

Wood was the top division’s leading scoring at the end of last week with 12 followed by Rolly Bodden of the Bonaca Boys on 10 and Ariel Tatum on nine.

The most entertaining game in the second division two was the 7-7 draw between Coconut Joe’s and McAlpine United. Hank Parchment couldn’t put a foot wrong for McAlpine, hitting six. Jim Forde got the other.

Rob Patraulea was just behind Parchment for the Coconuts, scoring five times. James Kennedy and Ian Kenyan got the others.

Old Boys beat Chilled 6-3 in another entertaining affair. Oneil Taylor hit four for Old Boys with the others coming from Paul Blenkinsop and Leighton Elliott. Marcus Ebanks, Stephen Reel and Mark Hogan were chillingly accurate for Chilled.

The Security Centre beat HSBC 9-4 with Ben Marler finding the target five times for the winners. Gavin Kane chipped in with a hat-trick and Rob Moorehead got the other. Kemar Scott scored twice for HSBC and Stefan Komos and Owen Dinnal got the others.

John Doak Architecture got a 3-0 walkover against Maples & Calder.

Before this week’s games, Parchment had smashed in 24 so far and Kenzel Dixon was in second place in division two with 14. Daniel Cummings, Tex Whitelocke and Pataulea were all on 13.

The CFP Buzz Crusaders are still unbeaten in division three but last week they almost lost that prized record, drawing 2-2 against a spirited and well organised Doghouse Devils II.

Dan Stuber hit both for Buzz. Adam Cullen and Kamila Nagy were the Devilish scorers.

KPMG remain second after beating Ocean Frontiers 2-0 thanks to goals by James Kattan and Andrew Green.
