Make a Joyful Noise, a concert to be held by the Save Our Youth Foundation at the Lions Centre on 29 September in Grand Cayman, is being postponed until 3 November to accommodate performers’ schedules.

The event features the First Baptist Church Choir, the Peacemakers, the Williams Children, Final Hour and a host of other artists. Guest speaker at Make a Joyful Noise is Prophet Evon Gocan.

All proceeds of the concert will go to the SOY Achievement Medallion Award Programme and the Clifton Hunter High School Kony Project.

Organisers of the event explained that they were contacted by the students at Clifton Hunter High School to assist them with their efforts in relation to the Kony Project, which is an effort to stop the abuse of children in Africa by an infamous warlord known as Kony.

The Medallion Programme is an initiative by the SOY Foundation that awards students for outstanding effort in academics. So far, more than 200 students have received that award.

The Make a Joyful Noise Concert will be held at the Lion’s Centre on 3 November at 7pm.
