Girl’s Brigade
The Girl’s Brigade Council invites Brigade girls, their families, officers, assistants and friends of Girls’ Brigade to an evening of fellowship and fun at the Elmslie United Church Hall at 5.30pm on Wednesday. This is an opportunity to meet with the International President of Girls’ Brigade, Mrs. Ruth Chikasa during her visit to Cayman. Dinner and refreshments will be provided. The work of all of the companies for the year will be displayed.
War on Weight
Friday is the deadline to apply for the War on Weight challenge, funded by the Cayman Heart Fund. Applications are available at www.wowcayman.ky and can be filled out online or downloaded and submitted via e-mail to wowcayman@yahoo.com.

The Red Cross mobile thrift shop goes to Bodden Town by the public beach close to the Lorna’s Texaco Gas Station, 6am to 10am Saturday. Clothing, shoes and other miscellaneous items are available for reasonable prices.
Blue Jack Night
The United World Colleges Cayman Islands National Foundation presents its annual games night, 7pm to midnight Saturday at The ARC, Camana Bay. Cards, dominoes, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and champagne, cash bar, silent auction, live DJs, door prizes. All proceeds toward scholarships for young Caymanians at United World Colleges.
