A Cracked Conch Christmas
TOPIC: Food & Wine
November 3, 2010

There’s nothing quite like spending the Christmas season underneath the bright Caribbean stars.

If you’re going to be in lovely Grand Cayman this holiday, the one and only place that offers a breathtaking view of the open sky, plus the perfect tropical location right on the wide open ocean, terrific cuisine and a wonderful party atmosphere is the Cracked Conch restaurant in West Bay.

The Cracked Conch is offering fantastic half-price arrival drink specials for party groups that mention this ad — and why not enjoy them in the restaurant’s one-of-a-kind Mahogany Bubble Lounge.

Or the group looking for an entirely different experience can reserve the Soto’s room with that old-style Caribbean feel for up to 50 guests.

Groups that reserve on Friday night swill be entertained by one of Cayman’s great live bands from 9pm until the early hours of the morning at the Macabuca Tiki Bar below the restaurant — contact the restaurant for the monthly lineup.

On Super Saturdays at Macabuca, groups can follow dinner upstairs with the always entertaining Salsa night and dance the beautiful night away.

For a little more holiday zest, the head chef at the Cracked Conch, Mr. Gilbert Cavallaro, has created Christmas party menus serving traditional favourites like the delectable conch ceviche, but with an added Christmas flare. These menus will put a unique Christmas twist on many of the Cracked Conch’s popular dishes.

The Cracked Conch also offers an extensive wine list and interesting drink packages to meet all of the party-goer’s needs.

The restaurant will sparkle with Christmas and holiday decor, giving all party groups a taste of the islands and the warm feeling of the season at home.

The Cracked Conch is located on North West Point Road in West Bay — look for the large conch sign. Please feel free to give a call at 345.945.5217 or go online and visit their website at www.crackedconch.com.ky
