ABS Trade & Commerce Ltd. is a company with a mission – providing access to goods and services from Cuba and Latin America to the Cayman Islands.
The new business offers a range of services, including travel and cargo to Cuba, coordinating medical appointments in Cuba for Cayman residents, arranging Spanish-language classes and facilitating recruitment of skilled Cubans.
Co-owner Bonnie Anglin started the business after identifying a need in the Cayman Islands.
“It is still an untapped market for the Cayman Islands,” Bonnie says. “The market to Cuba is growing as travel and cargo between Cuba and Cayman has grown tremendously over the past few years.”
