CAYMAN ISLANDS IMMIGRATION ONLINE
w w w . i m m i g r a t i o n . g o v . k y

Is your company spending too much time and resources on immigration matters? Expect this to change in early 2012, when the Immigration Department launches a revamped web presence for businesses and agencies. Immigration On-Line (IOL) is a powerful tool, that business owners and HR professionals can use to efficiently manage their immigration needs.

Using Immigration Online requires only three simple steps. The first time you enter the site you will be asked to register for a Cayman Islands Global Network (CIGnet) account. This will allow you to access online services across Government as these become available. Once your CIGnet registration is complete you may contact the Immigration Department for an activation key and agency ID for IOL.

The final step will be to use your CIGnet username and password, as well as agency specific access details, to enroll for Immigration Online services.  From that point you will be able to
access IOL using only your CIGnet information.

The new technology will allow you to use a meetings calendar to monitor applications scheduled to be heard by various Immigration Boards. Users will be able to “drill-down” to see the full details of each application, including: status history, meeting & decision detail, financial transactions and dependants.

Comprehensive search, filter and sort functionality will allow instant access to current or historical applications. IOL also makes available business staffing plans, details of mail received by the Immigration Department, and cancelled permit information. In addition content can be exported to your own spreadsheets, reducing the amount of paper generated by each transaction.

The Immigration Department wants to make it secure and efficient for you to do business in the Cayman Islands. Immigration Online is our newest solution to this challenge.  We are committed to constantly upgrading our services to meet your immigration needs.
