Shayne Howe,
Councillor
T: 945.8001
E: showe@phoenix.com.ky

Shayne arrived in Cayman at the age of nine. After completing his education in Canada, he returned to start his career in the construction industry with Phoenix Ltd., a family owned business.

Learning from the ground up has given him the opportunity to perform every position in the company over the past 21 years and he has been filling various management positions for the past 17. Shayne has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the Cayman construction industry. His established working relationship with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers provides great value to the continued success of the organisation.

Shayne continues to play an integral role in developing the companies that make up the Phoenix Group, which has developed a solid reputation for delivering quality projects. The Group, which includes Exeter Property Development, Icon Architecture, Phoenix Construction, Delphi Information Management and Condor Properties provide a full range of design, construction, IT and management services. This provides clients with solutions from concept to completion and beyond, with facility maintenance services.

Shayne recently joined the Chamber Council and has identified as a particular area of interest the Chamber’s interaction with The Council of Associations and the incorporation of other recent association startups. As a strong multi-company facilitator he sees where there is potential for more closely coordinated cooperation between the councils to create stronger actionable policies, greater operating efficiencies and improved communications.
