Loaded Cuban boat passes through

A makeshift vessel with 28 migrants arrived off the coast of East End, Grand Cayman Thursday night.

According to immigration officers, the migrants indicated that they intended to travel on to Honduras and request no assistance from local authorities.

Police monitored the craft overnight and early Friday immigration officials said it appeared the Cubans were making ready to leave.
