The Cayman Islands Tourism Association held an event in Margaritaville to celebrate and thank the volunteers who assisted with Taste of Cayman 2012. 

There were more than 260 volunteers, of which 150 people attended the celebration. 

“Harry Lalli, the tourism association president, and Steven Hayes, the Taste of Cayman chairman, both welcomed people and gave a Taste of Cayman wrap up,” said Lucy Wilcox of the association. 

“Taura Ebanks and Valerie Hoppe, our volunteer coordinators, congratulated and thanked all volunteers. Digicel our volunteer sponsor donated a BlackBerry phone, which was drawn on the night for one lucky volunteer. Awards were given for stand out volunteers, our volunteer supervisors and those that went above and beyond.”
