Twenty-year-old Cassianne Lawrence has been chosen by N’Vogue Productions to represent the Cayman Islands in the Pulse Caribbean 2010 Model Search this weekend.

Miss Lawrence is in Jamaica awaiting her chance to be a participant in the final model show, scheduled to take place in the Wyndham Hotel in Kingston on Sunday, 5 September at 7.30 pm.

She was picked from a group of Caymanian models who submitted their information hoping to be participants in Fashion Extravaganza 2010,

“Miss Lawrence is proud to represent her island and is looking forward to making a strong showing on the Caribbean Model Search runway, which she hopes will open doors for her on the international stage, said Jacqui Prince, a director of N’Vogue Productions.

Since its inception in 1982, the Pulse Caribbean Model Search has given rise to some of the most accomplished faces and figures in the global fashion and modelling industry.

This year’s contest will be no different when it comes to featuring a number of alluring young women on stage, following in the footsteps of such Model Search alumni as Jaunel McKenzie, Lois Samuels, and a host of others, said Ms Prince.

N’Vogue Productions is an event planning and productions firm in Grand Cayman and producers of Fashion Extravaganza.  Their main focus is fostering the artistic talents of young Caymanians, particularly in the area of modelling, fashion and designs, and entertainment, and creating platforms on which they can be discovered by the rest of the world.
