West Bay teen found safe

A runaway teenager who left her family’s West Bay home more than a month ago has been found alive and well.

Royal Cayman Islands Police confirmed that15-year-old Tamara Smith, who had been missing from her home address since 7 February was found Thursday in George Town.

Police said Tamara was traced safe and well by RCIPS police officers in the Rock Hole area.

Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding her movements over the past four weeks are continuing, officers said.
